Sex Trafficking of Minors: Learning how to recognize and treat the victims

Improved community awareness of sex trafficking of minors has sparked increased awareness among physicians and other health care professionals. However, many continue to underestimate the problem locally and have little confidence in their ability to identify and assist victims. A report in this issue of WMJ takes a closer look at the issue of sex trafficking of minors and presents guidelines for the medical care of victims.
