The Practice of Medicine: Past & Present
In this issue of WMJ, author H.P. Greeley, MD, describes the changes occurring in medicine and emphasizes the importance of physician collaboration and cooperation in caring for a community. Remarkably, this essay—reprinted in its entirety—was first published in WMJ 100 years ago yet remains an informed commentary on the practice of medicine, both then and now.
