Special Issue on Maternal and Child Health
December 2024
The WMJ is seeking papers that explore the myriad issues that impact maternal and child health for a special themed issue to be published in December 2024. Topics may include but are not limited to:
- Health equity and social determinants of health
- Complications of pregnancy
- Mental health/behavioral health issues
- Treatment of infants and children with special health care needs
- Policy and advocacy
- Workforce development
Authors should refer to the Instructions for Authors for manuscript guidelines. We will consider peer-reviewed submissions (ie, original research, review articles, case reports, and brief reports, as well as editorial-reviewed submissions (ie, commentaries, “As I See It,” letters, and editorials).
